Soar

Kraig Yearwood is a Barbadian multidisciplinary artist and designer. He studied Graphic Design at the Barbados Community College and is known for his drawings, paintings, assemblages, digital prints, and sculptures. He is also the owner/designer of the avantgarde accessories label “Stuff”. Yearwood has had six solo shows and participated in numerous group exhibitions both locally and internationally. He describes his approach to art making as partially intuitive, yet with a strong sense of structure. Yearwood’s work often registers as poetic and symbolic meditations on romantic love, solitude, gender-roles and social pressures and tends to evoke a sense of human vulnerability.
